

Dorothy Monica Sehring, 85, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio. Dorothy was born September 24, 1930 in New York, New York to the late Michael and Mary Graz; also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Graz. She was a graduate of Mary Louis Academy as well as Queens College in New York and enjoyed a lifelong career in teaching, first at The Park School in Buffalo, New York, followed by the Columbus School for Girls in Columbus, Ohio. She had a flair for the dramatic… for theater, William Shakespeare and traveling, and when possible, Dorothy liked to take the road less traveled. She is survived by her devoted husband, Dewey A. Sehring; children, Christopher Sehring, Jenifer Alexander, Jonathan Sehring, David Sehring and Monica Shifley; grandchildren, Philip Alexander, Jamie Sehring, Daniel Shifley, Charlotte Alexander, Hilary Sehring, Robert Alexander, Meredith Shifley, Kellan Sehring, Caroline Shifley, Griffin Sehring, Tyler Sehring, Brook Sehring, Darcy Sehring; sister, Barbara Freeman; sister-in-law, Rosalie Graz. Family will welcome friends 5-8pm Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230.
