Dorothy "Patty" Snyder

Dorothy Louise Snyder, “Patty”, 86, longtime resident of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away June 20, 2010. She was born May 7, 1924 in Glouster, Ohio to the late Joseph and Nettie Gaskalla. Patty is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Eugene; son, James; granddaughter, Jane; 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Patty is survived by her children, Rebecca (Jim) Korzec, Joseph (Lori) Snyder; 7 grandchildren, Todd, Chris, David, Doug, Julie, Tom, Leeann; 12 great-grandchildren and sister, Jane Saikas. Patty retired after 20 years of service as an accounting clerk with the Army Air Force Exchange. Patty enjoyed doing crafts, playing the organ and going fishing with her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W.
