Douglas Scot Yors

Douglas Scot Yors (October 1974 - November 2020), was a well-loved member of many communities (Grove City Alumni, Restaurant Owners, Chefs and Franklin County 4-H). He seemed to know someone everywhere he went and if he did not know you, he quickly befriended you. He was a gentle giant who was full of wisdom, recipes, jokes and high jinx! He was young with lots of life left to live, unexpectedly leaving behind 2 small children that he loved dearly: Estella Audra Yors (7 years old) and Eli Jackson Yors (6 years old). He also leaves behind Lindsey Hutchinson Yors, his loving wife of almost 10 years, his Mother, Virginia Lee Yors (nee Taylor), his siblings, Vona and Larry Pugh, Gina and Mick Krieger and Donnie and Teresa Yors, along with many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. He is preceded in death earlier this year by his Father, Donald Lee Yors. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY from 2-5 pm. A private service will be held for Doug. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to: OSU Foundation, Ohio 4-H Center 2201 Fred Taylor Dr Columbus OH 43210. Checks would need to have 602286 in memory of Doug Yors in the memo. Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
