Edgar J. Snyder

Edgar J. Snyder, age 77 of Columbus, passed away Monday, October 4, 2010. Edgar was born in Leipsic, Ohio, son of the late Joseph and Violet Snyder. Also preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph, Max, and William, and infant sister, Betty Lou. Edgar’s passion in life was his family. He enjoyed spending time with them, whether he was hosting Grandpa’s pizza night, or challenging everyone in card game, it didn’t matter as long as he was surrounded by his family. He loved unconditionally and was known for giving his grandchildren the absolute best hugs ever. He will be missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Snyder; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Bob Beck and their children, Hannah, Brandon, and Max; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Laura Snyder and their children, Alex, Leah, Thomas, and Sam; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Carol Snyder and their children, Joshua and Phoebe; brother, Don (Luella) Snyder; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, October 11, 2010 at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Rd. Family will receive friends from 2-6 P.M. Sunday at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Father Leo Connolly Celebrant. Interment St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Contributions may be made at the to the Arthur G.
