

Born September 18, 1930 in Glouster, Ohio, she was the youngest of four daughters born to Marshall Summers and Edith Holloway. She graduated in the Glouster High School Class of 1948 and came to Columbus to attend Columbus Business School. In Columbus she met her husband of 67 years, Biscoe (Joe) Hill, Jr. He was her lifelong love, best friend and travel companion. Together they traveled to England, Scotland, Malta and China as well as to most of the United States. In addition to travel Freda was an accomplished pianist who often played at gatherings of friends and family. Freda was a career woman who spent the better part of her working career as an executive secretary at North American Rockwell.
Freda is preceded in death by her older brother Cyril Holloway of England, And sisters Edith Zinn, Clara Carter and Margaret Lepley. She is survived by by devoted and loving husband Joe, nieces and nephews Leslie Holloway, Edith “Dedie”Smith, Marshall (Lynn) Zinn, Debbie Zinn, Allan (Linda) Lepley and Bruce (Mary) Lepley as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. Visitation and service will be held Sunday, December 1 at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community, 2225 Taylor Park Dr, Reynoldsburg, Oh, 43068. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Monday, December 2 at noon.
