Edna L. Carpenter

Edna L. Carpenter, age 91, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Saturday, August 20, 2011. She was born in Louisville, KY on May 29, 1920 to the late William and Frieda Lausman. She had a long association with HER Realtors as a realtor and then in client relations. She also enjoyed her time as consultant with Luzier Cosmetics. She was a true “Southern Lady” always gracious and dignified. Her family will forever miss her unwavering encouragement and love. She is preceded in death by her former husband, Errett L. Carpenter, Jr., and brother, William H. Lausman II. She is survived by her children, Errett “Fred” (Susan Furste) Carpenter, James C. (Mary Jane) Carpenter, Sue A. Carpenter, Lisa (Cyrus Karoon) Carpenter; grandchildren, Amy Carpenter, Wendy (Michael) Levine, Jodi (Ryan) O’Sullivan, Katy (Tyler) Gibson, Elizabeth (Vernon) Hendrickson, Caroline Carpenter, Abigail Carpenter and Aryanna Carpenter-Karoon; 10 much loved great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Ball and Jane Hinsvark; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 4- 7 pm, Friday, August 26, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL1740 Zollinger Rd. where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 27, 2011.
