My feelings and a shared prayer for Edna, her beloved family and friends:

I am so very sorry for Enda's family and friends. She will be very much missed, and I will miss Edna very much.  I have known Edna since we were teens, Actually, I was a preteen.  Edna was a very special and kind soul, always willing to help out in any way she could.  Edna was highly intelligent and had a very creative mind, always seeking new and fun ways to create or recreate and make improvements on something, or thinking up a new technique and loved to organize and make things pretty or somehow better. And she always enjoyed being with her family and friends. 
The latest joyful memory that I have of Edna was a time her and hubby Roger Sr.,(who was like a brother to me) came to visit (and we visited with one another often in the days before she began having health issues) Anyway, this particular time that they came to visit, I had the album of Ben E. King playing on the stereo with the latest pop song 'Stand By Me' playing.  After greeting one another, we all began to dance and for several hours in our living room, having such a good time doing all the dances we did as teens, at the Thompson Recreation Center Dance Parties.  Edna especially liked to do the 'cha cha' with Roger, then we visited some more sitting around the kitchen table, as we so often did, drinking coffee and chatting about this and that and everything imaginable.  That was the last time we had  a really fun and joyful visit together. However,  Edna was always learning how to make something from scratch and teaching me also, as well as anyone who wanted to learn :)  I so enjoyed those joyful times that we spent together making crafts, baby blankets and comforters together.  And anytime I wanted to learn how to make something, I knew that I could always call on Edna because she was always excited to learn and then teach me too :)  A lovely Human Being.  Miss her dearly, but I have much faith that she is with her true love & hubby Roger Sr. as well as all of her family and her guardian angels.

I want to express my condolences to The Yontz and Castle family. Words can never heal the Heart as to the loss of a loved one, especially when it’s the Matriarch of the family. I can hear her and see her loving and holding her dear Rog once again. You have a wonderful loving family, a devoted daughter and a devoted son; Athena and Roger will carry on the Yontz legacy of love and kindness. Your Grandchildren, Angie, Chrissy, and Tony, are blessed to have had you and Roger help guide them through the path of their loving mother Athena. Light Speed Momma Yontz! You will be missed, but you will never be forgotten, and you will be loved for all Eternity.
