Edward Michael Burch

Edward "Eddie" Burch, age 59 of Grove City, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015. Eddie was born in Glens Falls, New York, son of Dorothy Simpson and the late William Burch. Also preceded in death by father-in-law, John "Jay" Troy. Eddie proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines for 19 years and 3 months. Longtime member of Buckeye Santa's and The Leathernecks. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Linda Troy Burch; children, Brandi (Justin) Williams and Timothy Burch; grandchildren, Ava and Piper Williams; mother, Dorothy Simpson Burch; mother-in-law, Joanne Troy; siblings, Joseph (Deborah Eddy) Burch, Beth (James) Corey; sister-in-law, Susan Troy; and family including Joyce Sumner, Sandra Lufkin, Dorothy Hunt, Duane "Booper" Burch, Robert "Bobby" Burch, William Burch, Jr., Keith Burch, Kristine Vedd, Kathy Russell, Karol Millington, Karen Griffin, Natalie Simpson, and Ernest Simpson; beloved best buddie Chi-weiner Georgie; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 and from 1-2 P.M. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., where a memorial service honoring Eddie will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, December 5, 2015. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
