Edwin F. Green II, age 83, of Gahanna, passed Monday, Feb 4, 2013. Born in St. Louis, MO Dec 5, 1929 the youngest child to George A. and Winifred Green of Ladue, MO. Ed was a proud graduate of the University of Virginia. Ed was an Air Force Korean war veteran. He worked for defense activities division of Western Electric Company both in Northern Canada and on a “Texas Tower” off the Atlantic coast. Ed retired as an Engineer from Western Electric after 36 years of dedicated service. Ed is survived by his son, Edwin F. Green III.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, Feb 9, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (@ Beecher Rd.) Gahanna, where friends will be received from noon until service. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
