He was born in Newark on February 13, 1931 to the late Walter and Nellie (Claggett) Redman. He enjoyed watching and going to the Browns games, watching movies, and playing chess.
Edwin is survived by his wife of 33 years Barbara, children Edwin (Tammy) Redman, Ron (Tina) Redman, Debra (Clifford) Amore, William (Becky) Dearing, Michael (Beckie) Dearing, and Christy (Frank) Lombardo. Also surviving him are his wonderful 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Walter Redman Jr.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 6-8pm at Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home 179 Granville Street, Newark.
Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 10 am with Pastor Ralph Nethers Officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens.
