

She will be forever loved and missed by her husband and friend of 40 years, Steve, and her loving daughter, Amanda. She is survived by her devoted parents, Truman and Jan Bennett of Westerville, her sister Karen (Gary) Ballou, brother Mark (Laura) Bennett , sister-in-law Sharon (Dan) Green, brother-in-law Dave (Pam) Courtney, her aunts and uncles and her several nieces and nephews.
She received her Bachelor in Education from Ohio State University and her Master of Education from University of Dayton. She taught 25 years in Columbus Public Schools and previously in Dayton Public Schools. She held Certification from the National Board For Professional Teaching. She was able to work at her life’s dream teaching children, to which she dedicated over 30 years. She touched the lives of many children, friends and colleagues and will be remembered and greatly missed.
Friends may call Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 3-6 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (Just south of I-270), where the funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to contribute to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio, 6724 Perimeter Loop Rd.,Suite 129, Dublin, Ohio,on Elizabeth’s behalf.
