Emily Ann Hennessey

Emily A. Hennessey, passed away on Saturday, May 17th, 2014 under the care of Kobacker House. She was born on March 29, 1925 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late Edward B. and Isabelle Sharp. She is also preceded in death by her husband John B. Hennessey; and sister Josephine Hall.

An amazing woman, and a loving mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children: Ellen Biederman, John E. (Janet) Hennessey, Sarah Mohler and Michael D. (Patsy) Hennessey; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A teacher with Barrington Elementary School, she went on to work with Superior Plating and Friendship Village of Dublin. She was an avid Bridge Player.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 5 - 8 p.m., at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington 43220. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 22, 2014 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221 with Father Daniel Ochs, Celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
