Eric Douglas Dobias

Eric D. Dobias, age 52, of Columbus, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born October 11, 1965 in Columbus. He was a former HVAC Technician and avid Minnesota Vikings fan. He was also a longtime member of Alcoholics Anonymous and was also a volunteer at Maryhaven. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kate Dobias. He is survived by his daughter, Lydia (Brian) Montgomery; father, James Dobias; brother, Chris (Paula) Dobias; niece, Lauren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives; many supportive "Friends of Bill W." and dear friends Arden Davidson and Penny Hall. Friends will be received from 4-6p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at HEART and HOPE FUNERAL HOME BY SCHOEDINGER, 3030 West Broad Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Monday, July 16, 2018 at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 473 South Roys Avenue, Fr. Patrick Toner, Celebrant; interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
