Eric Melfi

Eric was a 1978 graduate of Whetstone H.S. where he was the city wrestling champion and attended The Ohio State University. He worked as a consultant in garment manufacturing with several companies including Skips Cutting.

Eric was full of life and lived it to the fullest. He kept people laughing with his sense of humor and quick wit. He was quite artistic and gifted with his hands. He loved music and his collections, especially his tennis shoes. Eric was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother and will be dearly missed by his family.

He will be missed by his loving wife of 14 years, Tona Melfi; daughter, Erica Hasburgh; parents, Dr. Rudy and Pat Melfi; step-son, James Oaks and his daughters, Brooke and Amara; step-daughter, Melinda (Brandon) Starling and their son, Kaleb; brother, Mitch (Debbie) Melfi; sisters, Amy (Michael) Stahr and Nanci (Rob) Stradley and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Monday, October 6, 2014 from 5 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH.
