Erin Dieffenderfer

A teacher, she moved to Columbus in 1969 with her husband Richard where she earned a master’s degree from The Ohio State University.

After taking time to raise her son Todd, she worked for Lazarus and Macy’s where she retired. In retirement she enjoyed time spent with her granddaughter Ella as well as travel, participating in multiple book clubs, attending Broadway musicals, and volunteering at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop. Most recently she enjoyed a Thanksgiving family trip to New York City to see a show on Broadway, the Rockettes, and the Christmas lights.

Her family will miss her wisdom, sense of style, appreciation for the arts, and ability to keep all the fine details organized.

She is survived by her husband Richard, son Todd, daughter in law Stacie, and granddaughter Ella.

Family will receive friends at a visitation that will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43221.
