Erma Elizabeth Mertz, 92, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015. She was born October 24, 1922 in Leesburg, Ohio to the late David and Lettie Berry. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Mertz; brother, Lee Berry; and son in law, Bobby Pyles. Erma is survived by her loving children, Barb Pyles and Dennis (Ruthayn) Mertz; grandchildren, Lynda, Kim, Michael, Karin, Kathi, Sandy, and Kyle; 8 great-grandchildren; sister in law, Catherine Berry; special friends, Martha and Verna; and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 2-5 PM Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be held 10 AM Monday with Rev. Dr. Don Wallick officiating.
