Eugene Paul Collins

Eugene Paul Collins, TSgt., USAF, Retired, age 80, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 18, 2013. He was born October 15, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Cornelius and Della (Adair) Collins. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and Sears Roebuck & Co. Distribution Center. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and RAFA (Retired Air Force Assn.). Eugene was an avid bowler, a faithful Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed watching classic movies, wrestling, and playing cards. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lula Belle Delores Collins in 2005; also preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Cleveland Jackson and Cleveland A. Black; sister-in-law, Joyce Collins and son-in-law Douglas Wunder. He is survived by his son, Shawn (Renee) Collins and daughter, Theresa Collins; grandson, Alexander Stinnett; brother, Cornelius Collins; sisters, Anita Jackson and Constance Black; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday, March 22, 2013 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where services will be held at 9am Saturday; interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
