Evelyn Daley

Evelyn P. Daley, age 89, of Columbus and formerly of Lima passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Mill Run Garden and Care Center. Evelyn was born in Charleston, WV on August 27, 1921, the daughter of the late Roger and Julia Natlis. Evelyn was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terrence W. Daley; daughter, Janet Frances Daley Allen; and sisters, Phyllis Driscoll and Juliann “Pat” DeCamp. Evelyn was a librarian for Lima Public Libraries for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the frequent visits of her children and spending time with her grandchildren. Evelyn was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Lima and for the last 13 years a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Columbus. She is survived by her children, Terrence W. (Helen) Daley, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, James E. Daley of Columbus, Phyllis A. (Thomas) Hamilton of Flossmoor, IL and Mark R. (Cindy) Daley of Lima; grandchildren, Megan, Olivia, Amanda, Caitlin, and Clare; and 5 great grandchildren. Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10am (TENTATIVE) St. Charles Catholic Church, 2200 Elm Street, Lima, Ohio 45805.
