

Felix “Bob” Konkle, age 64, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011. He was born in Columbus to the late Felix and Catherine Konkle. He was employed by Paul’s 5th Avenue Restaurant for 27 years. He was also a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Bob had an incredible love and appreciation for life and never met a stranger. Bob’s interests included traveling, Special Olympics, and he was an avid Ohio State fan. His family will truly miss his positive outlook on life. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Kenneth Hardesty. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Konkle Hardesty; brother, Donald (Deborah) Konkle; niece, Elizabeth C. Hardesty; nephews, Benjamin S. Konkle, and Phillip B. Konkle; and special friends, the Franklin County Residential Services, and the staff at Paul’s 5th Avenue Restaurant. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Friday, May 6. 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher RD) Gahanna. Where funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, May 7, 2011. Reverend Laurie Clark officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
