Frances L. (Bolin) Ryan

Frances L. (Bolin) Ryan, age 93 of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Frances was born in Pomeroy, Ohio, daughter of the late Charlie and Alzina Bolin. Also preceded in death by sons, Ronald and Richard Leach and John O. Ryan, and great grandson, James Perkins. Frances was raised and lived her life in Columbus. She was the matriarch of the Ryan family. In addition to being a proud wife, she also took pride in her “gran babies” and cherished all the great times. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and traveling. Anything that involved having fun, Frances made sure she was a part of. She will be missed by her loving husband of 63 years, John Ryan; children, Michael Leach, Harold (Gladys) Leach, Patricia Danielson, Frances Roush, and Shirley Waybright; 19 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, February 4, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday.
