Frank Leroy Hoy

Frank passed away suddenly at his residence in Columbus OH on May 3, 2021. He is survived by his wife Pat whom he was married to for 52 yrs, his brother John Hoy of Hocking County, stepdaughters Terri Fisher of Westerville and Cheryl (John) Cullum of Toledo, grandchildren Garrick and Charlotte Daniels both of Columbus, and great-granddaughter Elizabeth Daniels. He retired from the The Timken Company with 30 yrs. of service. Frank's true passion was country music. He played the guitar and did the vocals for the many square dances his band "The Independents" played in Hanover OH at Flowers Hall. The band played at many events throughout Ohio for over 30 years. Frank and Pat traveled the country extensively, often taking month-long trips exploring the country. Frank is preceded in death by grandson Paige Alexander Daniels. Visitation (11-11:30) and funeral service (beginning at 11:30am) is Thursday May 13th at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST in Gahanna followed by a 2pm burial at Fairview Cemetery in Rockbridge Ohio.
