Frank always called me his funeral buddy because I always took him to his brothers and sister in laws funerals. On the ride to the final resting place for his family he would always tell me stories of his childhood . I learned alot about the Price family from those stories and we even took a ride past his old neighborhood. The house is long gone and so is Claycraft but the stories will always be remembered. I always told him he should write them down so the grandchildren and great grandchildren would always remember him by. I often wonder if he had. Your at peace now Frank enjoy seeing your parents and siblings again. We will see each other some day.

A poem I wrote for Papa:

Though our time always seemed so short, it was always goodbye that was the hardest.
Not knowing when I would see or hear from you again, I would sadly give you a hug and say goodbye.
I was just child, unable to understand what we were to have and how we were to be.
But you are a part of my daddy, and that means you are a part of me.
I didn't get to say my last goodbye, but I know there is an understanding between you and I.
And in heaven I know you will visit more, in my children and in my life, there will always be Papa Price.

We love you and miss you Papa.

I still can not grasp the fact that I will never hear your voice again, give you a kiss, or see your smile grow a mile wide and the twinkle in your eyes when you would see your babies from across the room.  I hope you forever know how very special you will always be to me.  I am the woman I am today and that has A LOT to do with you.  You touched so many lives, even though sometimes I didn't approve, you would give your left arm to a complete stranger, of course if it wasn't attached.  I will never know a more generous loving caring person.  I will cherish always the visits we had, the trips we took, and the times we had together.  I am a nurse today because of you, you showed me patience and thoughtlessness and caring as a little girl and I will never forget being a child and being your 'nurse' after surgeries so I could get you better. I was instilled with the nurture that it takes to take care of others family members.  I have a fondness always for those 'grandpa' types that are always on my floor!  I will never forget going to Linden Beach or Clown Cone or Wyandot Lake and how it lit your face up to be able to take your girls places so they could have a good time.  I will forever miss when it was just me and my pappie and we would go to COSI or downtown to discover Columbus or even to the Ohio historical Center and you would always have just enough money to be able to do it. I am going to miss all the interesting stories about your childhood or when my dad and his brothers were growing up, or even just us kids and it would always be something good or funny.  I miss you already, I wish you could have seen another little angel be born.  I know you will, you always found a way to do what you set out to do! I  am very honored and proud to say I took after my pappie and my daddy and wouldn't change it for the world.  You shined a light so bright it will never fade or burn out and you will always be with me, right in my heart. I love you infinity, I know you are safe and not hurting, and I'll be seein you pap...

I went to school at Gahanna Lincoln with Frank and Ralph.  Looks like he was still a good-looking guy at 79.  It sounds like he had a good life....I'm glad because he was a nice person.

I have so many memories of Grandpa Frank..some of my favorites were the famous uncrusted PB&J sandwiches that he would make for us "Price Girls" and all of our friends, cousins etc.. at Linden Beach Pool, I remember us girls singing "Jesus Loves Me" w/ Grandpa and dressing up to put on our mini plays for him.. he would always sing to us.."here she comes.. Ms America..".. I remember NYE(s) w/ him.. he would let us gather up the pots and pans from the kitchen and let us beat on them with all the wooden spoons at the stroke of midnight (outside I might add).. I remember him slipping me tooth fairy money under my pillow when I lost a tooth.. and oh how he loved his Benny Hill Show (sp?) and I will never forget how he got Skylar addicted to WWE..lolhttp://www.schoedinger.com/obituaries/Frank-Price/#.  Grandpa Frank was always there for EVERYONE.. and had the best of spirits.. always smiling.. even in his last moments.. Im thankful that my children, nieces and nephew have been fortunate to have known him and love him.  We have a guardian angel watching over us now.. he is forever in our hearts!!!
