Frank Tracy Summers

Frank Tracy Summers, 66, died peacefully at his home in Columbus on February 8, 2026. He is survived by his son, Austin Davis-Summers, his former wife, Sondra Davis-Summers of Summerfield, FL, and his siblings, John B. Summers II (JB) of Columbus; Beth Stein of San Antonio, TX; Lori Wile of Durham, NC; Teresa Summers of Westerville; their spouses and children and many loving and devoted friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Bruce and Patty Summers, and his sister, Mary Patricia Manning.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy which led to his career in avionics with Stevens Aviation in Greenville, SC, then as an overseas contract employ of the U.S. government, working on military aircraft in Germany, Kuwait, South Korea and Japan. Frank loved his family, his friends and rock and roll music.

He had an ornery sense of humor, a generous spirit and a big heart. We will miss him.

Family will receive visitors 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Schoedinger East 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH 43232, where a memorial service will begin at 4:00 pm. Reception to follow.
