Gary Engler

Gary was born on August 17, 1949 to the late Lee and Barbara Strete Engler in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Brookhaven High School, class of 1967. Gary served in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1972. After serving his country, he obtained his bachelors and would eventually retire from Ohio EPA. Gary was an avid photographer, and he would always have his cameras ready at every family event. His brothers and sisters always remember his having cameras around his neck. Gary also loved traveling and camping.

Gary is survived by his loving brothers and sisters, Jim (Carolyn) Engler, Ruth (Bill) Kingery, Steve (Nadine) Engler, Don (Johanna) Engler and Lori Engler; his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many other family and friends.

Cremation services were entrusted to Advantage by Schoedinger North. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Kingwood Memorial Park, 8230 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center.
