Gary was as a proud man. He was a very caring and loving man. He worked hard and accomplished many great things in life. He enlisted in the Air Force Services and served his country oversees during the Viet Nam War. After the war he returned home to his wife and his son. They started their lives together and Gary was extremely proud of them and the life they had built together and soon by the birth of their daughter. Gary's career included graduating from Franklin University while working out of his home as an independent agent for Nationwide Insurance and moved on as an agent for Commonwealth Insurance in Lexington Kentucky. He build a beautiful home and life there and I was so very proud of him. From there, Gary started his own business know as GLS Distributors and in addition opened a specialty doll store know as "Sharon's Dolls". His store brought him a great deal of pleasure and pride in his accomplishment. Later in life, Gary became a well trusted associate of the Lowes Sawmill Road Store. Gary was a well respected pillar of the community through his work with the customers he serviced, his relationships with the associates and management staff, and the caring relationships he developed with his close personal friends. Throughout his illness, even during the bad times, he always took time to listen to the people around him and help them when needed. Many peoples lives were enriched just by knowing Gary. He will always be remembered by his son, daughter, grandchildren, and the remainder of his family. God Bless you Gary. Thank you for your service to our country!! Now you can rest in peace knowing that you accomplished all you wanted to in life. We love you and may you now join your loving parents in peace.
