Dad you were my rock you were my world how I am going do I go on day to day with out you?  You have always been my rock even when I could not be a rock my self.  I love you Daddy!!!  There are so many memories that come to mind of good times we have Had!!  And I just wish there was more time to spend with you!!  Although we talked weekly, I wish I would have been closer so I could have seen ya a lot more then I did.  But I always stopped every chance I had!!!  I love you Daddy And you will be missed.  Tell Newby Mom Grandma Grandpa and everyone hi and tell them I love and miss them!!!

George was my dearest and oldest best friend we graduated together in 1967.He was like my big brother we had this thing in high school between us George and his best friend Billy were my guards and I was the leader they protected me. I'd be walking to class and George would put me over his shoulder and carry me to class I'd try to run, but he caught me. He told my dad once to be nice to me or he would pay him another visit. Doesn't that sound like George . To  this day he was my guard and I was the leader we signed our cards that way. A special bond we had. Then when my husband passed he came and helped me. He said he was my bridge over troubled waters. You could always count on him. George loved Xmas. We recently talked about the tree I sent him when he was on board in the Navy we laughed cause most of the balls broke, but he loved that tree. He recently sent me a picture of it. Another special memory. George had a big heart and he loved big. He shared memories of his children and grandchildren. I remember when his first child was born he came over to tells us he was so proud. He truly loved all his family .He was one of a kind. Remember his laughter great sense of humor his smiling eyes and singing House of the rising son and the love he gave to so many. He loved life and lived it to the fullest like frank Sinatra's song ''My Way" George did it HIS WAY. So have one for George he would love that. To George's family I'm so sorry you lost him. And to George one last time. I'll love you forever my dearest oldest best friend my GUARD. love your Leader. Sue.

I couldn't possibly know where to begin with sharing memories because I have 30 years of them.  The grief I feel is overwhelming!  My life has changed forever.  George and I had so much fun together.  He always made me laugh and was there for me when I cried.  He was larger than life!  You always knew when George was around and his presence made my life so much better.  He didn't feel well, but yet, he came to my house last week for 4 days and worked on putting a ceiling in my new basement room.  He was relentless and wanted to help me get it done when others didn't.  I have lost my best friend.  He will forever be in my heart.  I am so sorry for his family....he loved them more than life itself and wanted the best for them.  He was a wonderful Dad, Grandfather and friend.  He will be missed by us all......
