

Mr. Pfaff was born May 28, 1943 in Hackensack, NJ to the late Paul and Virginia (Kappus) Pfaff. He died Friday January 28, 2011 at Licking Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 67 years old.
A graduate of Ashville, Ohio High School Class of ’61, he received his MSW from The Ohio State University and an undergraduate degree in History. He was a Licensed Independent Social Worker for the State of Ohio and Crisis Intervention for Netcare.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Angie Bionci; a cousin Joan (Edd) Borngesser of Wisconsin, goddaughter Virginia (Mark) Huhn of Columbus, sister in Law Jennifer (Bill) Bionci of Youngstown, brothers in law Anthony and Daniel Bionci; father in law Dominic (Darlene) Bionci of Courtland, Ohio and many special friends and co-workers; his Pet dog Puck, six cats and one adopted cat.
George and Angie spent many wonderful vacations together, hiking through the Smoky Mountains, visiting Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, white water rafting in West Virginia, exploring many other natural wonders in America. A student of history and politics, traveling, gardening, sports, photography, bowling, and was very committed to his dogs.
