Gladys Louise Aschinger, 86, of Columbus, passed away peacefully August 19, 2010. She was born March 21, 1924 in San Benito, TX to the late Joseph and Julia Parker. Gladys was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Aschinger, whom she married on January 23, 1945; daughter, Carol Cooper; son-in-law, Jeff Isaacs; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Gladys is survived by her daughters, Julie (Jerry) Wilson, Janis Isaacs; grandchildren, Aaron, Scott, Kennan, Kathleen, Tiffany, Todd, Christine; 10 great-grandchildren and sister, Rosie Albritton. Gladys enjoyed bowling and playing cards but her true talent and passion was as an artist and painting portraits. She enjoyed spending her summers at their Lake Erie home, entertaining her family and friends. Visitation will be held 12:00-3:00PM Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL 6699 N. High St. Worthington, Ohio. Inurnment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery.
