Gladys Mae Fowler

Gladys Mae Fowler, age 91, went to be with the Lord, Friday, September, 30, 2011. She was born to the late Harvey and Cora Merrill in Elyria, OH on December 20, 1919. In addition to her parents, Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Arnise L. Fowler; and brother, Howard Merrill. She is survived by children, Cheryl (Bill) McKenzie, Barbara (Ian) Pepper, and Bob (Carol) Fowler; sister, Joyce Redden; grandchildren, Debbie Phelps, Deanne Sarah, Diane Murphy, and Chelsea, Allison, Meryl, Callie Fowler. Gladys loved quilting, sewing, baking, and teaching music to her grandchildren. Her mission was her family and passed on an appreciation for the simple things in life. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad Street, Galloway, OH 43119.
