Glenn had a passion for ceramics and umpiring youth baseball. He had an incredible talent for creating unique pottery and found great joy in teaching ceramics lessons. When not in the studio, he selflessly braved back-to-back baseball games, sharing laughs and post-game snacks from the trunk of his car with his fellow umpires.
Glenn, known as “Slink” to his Kappa Sigma fraternity brothers, cherished his life long friendship with them. In recent years he enjoyed reminiscing with his brothers at their annual reunions. A devoted fan of classic rock, Glenn especially cherished The Beatles. Some of his most treasured moments were spent with family and friends, listening to his favorite music, watching concert DVDs, and attending Beatles Marathon shows every December.
Beyond music, Glenn was an avid sports enthusiast. He faithfully cheered for the Buckeyes, Cubs, Bears, and Bulls, and he loved debating the greatest athletes of all time with his friends and family.
Above all, Glenn’s greatest joy in life was his grandchildren. He never missed a game, event, or milestone, and he was their biggest fan. With a heart of gold, he found endless happiness in the time spent with them.
Glenn will be deeply missed by his children, Josh (Beth) and Erica (Morgan); his grandchildren, Carsen, Jack, Cate, and Cole; his loving partner, Patti and his dog Bella.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM on Friday, April 4, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221.
