Grace Elizabeth Griffith

Grace Elizabeth Griffith, age 70, of Pataskala and formerly of Gahanna passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Grace was born on June 12, 1941 in Gahanna, OH; she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Stillwell. Grace was also preceded in death by beloved husband of 30 years, Chester Griffith; daughter, Bonnie Griffith; siblings, Mary Nutt, Patricia Harding, William Stillwell and Jonny Stillwell; and half-sister, Mary Miller. She is survived by her loving family, brother, Charles Stillwell; half-brother, Frank Cremeans; children, Brenda (Chris) Hayes, Cliff Griffith, Peggy (Mike) Sollberger and Geneva “Ginny” Griffith; step-daughter, Jacklyn Griffith-Forney; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Grace was a former member of the Eagles where she volunteered for Sounding Board Bingo. She was a devoted wife, dedicated mother and proud grandmother, great grandmother, and foster grandmother. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Columbus, Ohio 43230, where funeral services will be on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10:00AM. Pastor Bennie Lower officiating. Interment to follow at Mifflin Township Cemetery.
