Gregory L. Salyers, age 56, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 2, 1962. He was a 1980 graduate of Briggs High School. Greg worked for many years for Mt. Carmel and Ohio Health. He was kind and loved to help others. Greg enjoyed time spent with his mother, watching T.V., and target shooting. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Salyers; and step-father, Robert Varner. He is survived by his mother, Ruby "Pixie" Varner; brother, Jeffrey (Barbara) Salyers; step-brother, Jon Varner; step-sisters, Beth (Wayne) Davis and Deborah (Gregg) Krentz; nieces and nephews, Rebekah (Eric) Salyers Hess, Rachel Salyers, Jonathan Davis, Christopher Davis, Jim (Donna) Marzolf, and Sarah (Matt) Christensen. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 6:00PM with visitation one hour prior at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Ave, Columbus, Ohio.
