

Griffin Randall Beyer, 33, of New Albany, Ohio died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Griffin was born October 27, 1987, to William Mark and Kristy Mix Beyer, Blacklick, Ohio. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Stephanie Jones Beyer, with whom he enjoyed 10 years of marriage. Together they were blessed with two amazing sons, Landon Garrett, 6 and Mason James, 1.
Griffin was a lifelong member of Eastside Grace Brethren Church, Blacklick, Ohio, where as a youth he participated in Grace Brethren Boys (GBB). He graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School, Class of 2006 where he was a member of the National Honor Society, attended Buckeye Boys’ State, was a member of a capella Choir, and was a four-year Gahanna Lincoln Baseball Team member. Griffin attended The Ohio State University and was employed as a Technical Director with Improving Enterprises, Inc., Dallas, Texas.
Griffin was a rabid fan of Cleveland sports – Browns football, Cavaliers basketball, and Indians baseball. He was especially passionate for Ohio State football.
Griffin’s love of baseball carried over to his children. He was a hands-on daddy, lovingly teaching them and coaching Landon’s T-Ball and baseball teams. He was an avid golfer and played weekly with his father. Griffin was known and loved for his wonderful outgoing personality, his loyalty to friends and family, and his willingness to teach everyone how to have a dance party.
In addition to his parents, Griffin is survived by a sister, Chloe Beyer Hurrell (Matthew) and nephews Dawson, Noah, Henry and Charlie, Mentor, Ohio; aunts, Janean Langham, Lansing, Michigan and Linda Mix Beaver, Chillicothe, Ohio; uncle Kenneth Oyer, Omaha, Nebraska; aunts Janet Kloos (Jim), Westlake, Ohio, Debbie Pettit (Jim), Wellington, Florida, Cheryl Abbott (Dave), Akron, Ohio; uncle Jeff Beyer (Sharon), North Ridgeville, Ohio; mother and father-in-law, Sue and Gregory Jones, Dublin, Ohio; sister-in-law, Jamie Schneider and niece Delaney, Buckeye Lake, Ohio; special grandmother, Gladys Wiley, Dublin, Ohio.
Griffin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bonnie (nee Bonner) and Alhassen Mix, Chillicothe, Ohio and his paternal grandparents Phyllis (nee Zemek) and William Andrew Beyer, North Olmsted, Ohio; uncle Paul Beyer, Georgia; close cousin, Michael Abbott, Akron, Ohio; life-long friend Garrett Wiedner, Blacklick, Ohio.

Services will be held on July 11, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Visitation is 12:00-2:00pm with the service beginning at 2:00pm officiated by Pastor Chip Heim.
