Gwendolyn Reed

Gwendolyn Reed, age 71, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was born February 23, 1951, to the late Shannon and Mattie Mae (Smith) Moorer. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in passing to the love of her life and husband of 39 years, George H. Reed Jr. Gwendolyn will be missed and remembered for her feisty personality, and always doing things for those she loved. She was known for her strong will and independent nature. She is survived by her three loving daughters Mickey Reed, Stacie Reed, and Tressa Reed; Grandchildren Brandon Reed, Brad Reed, Shenel (Ashur) Case, Tre’von Reed, and Jasmine Reed. Great-grandchildren Nate Reed and Roman Case. Siblings Shannon Moorer Jr, Linda (Donald) Alexander, Earl (Avis) Moorer, and Steve (Lynn) Moorer, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
