I am very sad that I was never notified about this loss. Hania and I have had a long distance friendship that consisted of late night text messages or voice mails outlining frustrations and gains our lives. Just because we only saw each other once every few years and talked once every few months does not mean that I did not value our friendship. I take this as a huge loss in my life, for Hania was always a person whom I could open up to about anything. Our social backgrounds are very different but our priorities and goals are the same. I met Hania at a school in Kentucky, our friendship there carried over into a 6 year long distance friendship that I only hoped would prosper. My sincere condolences go out to all who loved her.

I had the privlidge of getting to know Hania well, on a mission trip.  She was a loving, thoughtful, and caring young woman.  My prayers extend to all those who loved her dearly, especially family.    Barb Karst

Walt and Barbara, Nicole and Lucas, our hearts go out to you at this darkest of times and hope that you take strength and comfort from the love and support from all who knew Hania. My memory of her playing as a child with Lucas and Nicole in the oak tree in the field by my house in Ascot stays with me. She was the one who did most of the climbing, and it showed what a brave and determined little girl she was. That also shone out in her singing and performing in shows at the village hall. Everyone who knew her here will be saddened beyond words at your loss, but now she is the spirit released as from a cage and now she can fly free and find peace.  Mark & Gail

Dearest Barb, Walt, Nicole and Lucas,

It is with deep sadness that Zara, Alexander and I cannot be with you today.  Though thousands of miles separate us we join you in spirit to remember Hania and to pray that she has found her peace.    Hania touched my heart from the very moment I saw her and I feel so very  privileged to have been able to spend some very special times and unique moments with her at the beginning of her life in Jordan and the early part of her childhood in England.

I have so many happy memories of the times we all spent together, holidaying in Dorset, celebrating Christmas/New Year at the Cottage in Wick Lane or the Lodge at BP; the children’s birthday parties, walks by the lake.  There are too many to recall but the most memorable are captured on video and photographs, in particular Hania and Barb leaving Jordan for the USA, and Hania’s wonderful performance in the school musical at Stubbington House. 

Cathy, Harry and Jack, Lizzie and Lucy, and Zara and Alexander all join me in sending you our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy.  We pray for Hania.  May she rest in peace.

Dear Novembre Family,

Although not knowing Mrs. Novembre or your family personally, I would like to extend my condolences for your loss.  In addition to supporting one another as a family you can also take comfort in God’s Word the Bible (Eccl 9:5) that says our loved ones are resting unconscious and in peace and that soon “death will be no more” (Rev 21:3-4).

I hope these few words assist you during this difficult period.

We are so sad to hear that Hania has gone.  She always was special ... from the walks around (or partly around) Virginia Water, to the walks thru bluebells or Easter Egg hunts at BP, Stubbington House musicals, her creative songs sung and strung on the beach in North Carolina ... and her just being Hania.  Our hearts are heavy for your loss and we can only hope that there is some consolation that she may now have peace in her soul.  We love you all very much.  You are family.

Dear Walt, Barb, and family. 

As you all know, Hania was very special to us. We are staying with dear friends in Amman, Jordan, this fall, and she, you, and I shared many stories, and a bond, because of the times we had spent in the Middle East. 

I will never forget her haunting solo on September 11th, when the World Trade Center was destroyed. We were all in shock, and there was open anger and fear of Arabs that day, and in the days following. At Peace Church, we called a worship service for that evening to hear of God's love and hope in the darkness. And, there was Hania, one voice expressing all of our sentiments in the packed church, with those basins of dust and candles being lighted by the hundreds, singing a gritty solo song of hope. "Even in my darkest hours, I will remember you..."

How sad that she could not love all that she was, as much as the rest of us loved her, and that she had to continue to struggle with her own darkness. That night, as tonight, while we struggle with the darkness and try to make sense of these things that happen, that make us catch our breath and wonder where to find hope, we remember that God's love for us is free, unconditional, unending, and always welcoming us home to him.

May God hold Hania in the palm of his hand.
