Harry, better known as Dan, was born on September 22, 1958 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and grew up in Whitehall, Ohio. Met the love of his life Teresa in 1980 and married her on May 1, 1981. They celebrated 42 years of marriage this year. Together they had two children, Crystal and David, and six grandchildren. Danny was a hard worker and retired from the Westerville School District in 2019 after 30 years of service in the custodial department.
Danny was a devoted husband, father, pawpaw, brother. He was friend to everyone. He enjoyed the simple things in life; spending time with his family, listening to the news, and big cups of hot coffee. Supportive in nature he enjoyed watching his family in all things they enjoyed, most recently at the ball field watching his grand daughters play softball. His pride in his children was always apparent but never shined as brightly as when his son joined the military. Dans support of his country and the military was something he always carried with pride. Danny would be described by many as kind, good natured, and funny. He never took himself too seriously and was always cracking jokes and being silly to get a laugh. A strong believer in you can never have too much tinsel on a Christmas tree, Danny loved and was loved so much, extending to family and friends and those friends who became family. Until the end Danny was a pillar of strength for his family and will be missed immensely.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents Burbage Wadsworth and Janet Hull Cassady, his step mother Nelly I Cassady, and his sister Sharon Elizabeth Butz.
Harry is survived by his wife Teresa Lynn Cassady; his children Crystal Lynn (Jason Robert) Caris and David Harry (Alyssa Danielle) Cassady; his grandchildren, Makenna Jade, Camryn Cassady, Kaelyn Delaney, Adeline Elizabeth, Kyler James, and Dakota Rose; his brothers, William Patrick (Tammy) Cassady, Joseph Reese (Lisa) Cassady and Ronald (Carla) Cassady.
