Harry J. Lowe

Harry "Buddy" Lowe. 73, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away August 16, 2020 at Country View of Sunbury. Buddy was born November 21, 1946 in Breeden, West Virginia to the late Chester and Mae Lowe. Buddy was a proud veteran of the United States Marines serving in Vietnam. He was a longtime member of Gahanna Free Will Baptist church. Buddy had been a truck driver for many years. It was his love for his family and spending time with his wife, Linda and his three children that made him the happiest. Buddy loved his family outings to his cabin in Muskingum County, Ohio where he fished and enjoyed his time with his family. Buddy leaves us better for having known and loved him. His humor, encouragement and love for his family will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Buddy was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Linda, parents, brother George Lowe, brother-in-laws John Wood and Tim Mayle. He is survived by his children Tamara "Tami" (Paul) Hawkins, Stephen (Angel) Lowe and Angela Lowe and fiancé Bucky McFadden; grandchildren, Brian McElvain, Heather McElvain, Zechariah (Brooke) Hawkins, Jessica Hawkins,Dakoda Hainley, Sklyar, Emily, Jayce, Ali, and Bryce; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Hayden, Riley, Nevaeh and Stella; siblings Linda Wood, Gladys (Ron) Watson, June Lowe, Donnie Johnson, Terry (Crystal) Lowe, Vickie Mayle, and Hank Harrison; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5-8pm, Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, where service will be held at 1pm Thursday, August 20, 2020 with interment to follow at Mifflin Cemetery; Pastor Curtis Booth, officiating.
