Helen Delancey

Helen was born in Newark on January 16, 1934 to the late William D and E. Gladys (Crane) Fraizer. She died Wednesday February 22, 2012 at Arlington Nursing Home. She was 78.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband George Delancey who died in 1978; sister Hazel I Fraizer Glasmeier, brothers Clarence, Charles, and Dwight Fraizer. She is survived by her children, James E. Delancey, Karen J. Stokes of PA., Bruce E. (Donna) Noblick of Columbus., Paul V. Delancey of Newark, Gladys (David) Shomaker of Texas, Patricia Delancey (Roy Booth) of Newark and Brenda (David) Collins of Newark; sister, Dortha Deweese of Newark; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Helen worked at the Newark Air Force Base, and loved to sew, knit, and crochet, and loved sopapillas.
