

Herbert W. Gross, age 85, died peacefully following a long illness on December 20, 2016. Survived by his loving wife Judith Gross, his son Murray Gross, and his step-daughters Susan Bunte and Rebecca Hadley, he is also survived by his four grandchildren: Benjamin Gross, Elizabeth Bunte, Frederick and Victoria Hadley, and nieces Paula Evans and Gail Blizard. Herbert was preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Evelyn. A graduate of Brandeis and the State University of New York (Buffalo), Dr. Gross served as a psychologist at the VA hospital and in a variety of other clinical settings. During his retirement, he was a dedicated and energetic docent at the Columbus Museum of Art and the Wexner Center for the Arts. A Ceremony of Remembrance will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Humane Society.
