H. Michael Rhodes, age 61, of Granville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at his home. He was a dedicated Internet Technician with the Social Security Administration in North Carolina and a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by loving wife of 31 years, Tina (nee Thomas) Rhodes; children, Samantha Miller, Michael (Lorien) Utt, Joshua Rhodes and Starla (Michael) Swick; 7 grandchildren; mother, Jacqueline (nee Fry) Rhodes; sisters, Janet (Scott) Kolbens and Carolyn Rhodes; brother, Roy Rhodes; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Herbert D. Rhodes. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6-9pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held 11:30am, Friday, September 13, 2013. Inurnment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
