

Ingeborg “Inge” Orbay, age 92 went home to be with Jesus, January 15, 2015 at 9:43 pm in Mt. Carmel West Hospital. She was born April 7, 1922 to Guido & Irma Chmelik in Klagenfurt, Austria. She survived WWII as a young woman who met a Hungarian refugee Lajos “Lewis” Orbay, they fell in love, married Dec. 3, 1949. They started a new life in America in 1950. They worked hard to become part of their community with untold opportunities & the good will of the people in the free world “America” who made that possible. She enjoyed life to the fullest, gardening was a passion, along with being a great cook, especially her baking old world cookies. Up until 3 yrs. ago she rode a stationary bike. Inge was a 22 yr. survivor of breast cancer. Many people said she was a feisty woman who always believed you can do all things with your hands and GOD. She is a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Johann Waschnig in 1942, her husband Lajos “Lewis” Orbay in 1996, and her parents Guido & Irma Chmelik.
Inge is survived by her loving children; son Werner J. Waschnig of Toledo, OH daughter Ingrid Weekley (Kenneth), of Columbus, OH brother Guido Chmelik (Peter), Klagenfurt, Austria, Neice Tunde Nuesslein (John), of New York, Grandchildren Tammy Waschnig (Ken), Nick Waschnig, Tony Waschnig (Jessica) of Toledo, OH Derek Lewis Weekley, Derron Kenneth Weekley, of Columbus, OH, Great Grandchildren Nicole Crabtree (Cody), Shawnna Waschnig, Karley, Kohl Waschnig, Dylan Hans Weekley, Great~Great Grandchildren Chloe, Cali Crabtree, Jamal, Amyia Waschnig, Great Nephew Johnny Nuesslein.
Family will receive friends Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11:30 am, time of memorial service 1:30 pm, at Bethesda Baptist Church, 3434 Watkins Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43207 614 376-6790
Pastor Leigh Upchurch will Officiate, Charlotte Upchurch will be playing special music, all are invited for fellowship and celebration to follow.
