

Isabella Maria (Schneider) Probst passed away peacefully on February 12, 2015, two weeks short of her 107th birthday, at Friendship Village of Dublin. Isabella was born on February 25, 1908, in Vienna Austria to Julius Schneider and Maria (Lichtmayer) Schneider. Isabella was preceded in death in 1959 by her loving husband Frank L. Probst, in 2007 by her beloved sister Irene Schneider, and by 4 other siblings. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Stephen F. Probst, MD, and Victoria L. (Gerard) Probst, grandchildren Michael S. (Erica) Probst and Jeffrey David (Lauren) Probst of Columbus, and Susan I. (Chad) Richards of Sonoma California; by great grandchildren Celia C. Probst, Isabella V. Probst, Matthew S. Probst, Charlie M. Probst, and Myles M. Richards, by dear friends Geri Rose and Jeanie Schussler of Cleveland, Ohio, and Alison Prosek of Plano Texas, and by the many loving members of the Gerard family. Isabella immigrated to the United States in 1950 with her husband and son, and became a naturalized US citizen in 1955, one of the proudest days of her and her family's lives. She lived for many years in Cleveland, Ohio and St. Petersburg, Florida. Since 2001 she was a resident of Friendship Village, Dublin Ohio, where the staff cared for her with great compassion and kindness. She enjoyed a long and rich life and was blessed with good health until the end. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Schoedinger Northwest Chapel.
