Jack Lee Conrad

Jack Lee Conrad, age 81, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ and Savior on Monday, April 4, 2016 at The Laurels of Hilliard while he was surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 22, 1934 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Chester and Margaret (Miller) Conrad. Jack attended Central High School and was a member of the Alumni Club. Jack retired as an Electrician from I.B.E.W. Local Union #683 after 39 years of service. He also had a passion for cars and enjoyed his retirement working part-time at Haydocy Buick GMC where he was able to share his love of cars with others. Jack was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Luther B. Turner Lodge #732 FandAM, Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Temple Shrine, Level Chapter #109 O.E.S. and Hilltop Shrine Club. Preceded in death his parents and sister, Patricia Conrad. Survived by his loving wife of 63 ½ years, Shirley Conrad; daughters, Sheree (Mark) Bartel and Patti (Tito Sanchez) Conrad; granddaughters, Paige Pellegrino and Carmen Sanchez; many other relatives and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, April 8, 2016 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2745 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204 with Pastor Thomas Phillips officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church.
