As both his neighbor and fellow classmate, I mourn Jack's loss and send my best wishes to his family during this time. I know Jack's memory will stay alive in those who best knew him. Though I lost touch with Jack over the years,  I was always met with kindness and humor during our time together. I pray Jack rests easy and his family can heal in the wake of his loss. Sending all my love.

I was in the UALC Tae Kwon Do group for many years. While I did not finish the program, I do have fond memories of the Mccabe family. Jack was one of the upperclassmen who helped train the younger ones. He taught me much of the early years of the martial art. I will always remember his patience and determination when working with him. Jack was a kind person who loved bringing out the best in others. Although I only had the privilege of knowing him for a handful of years, his kindness, thoughtfulness, and bright smile has made a lasting impression in my memories. Thank you, Jack.

I was Jacks preschool teacher at UALC and I am just heartbroken for everyone who knew and loved Jack. As a little guy  he was always so inquisitive, and kind and thoughtful to others.  I am praying for peace for his family as they share good memories of Jack and comfort as they know where Jack is now, in the arms of our Lord and Savior. God bless all of you.

I went through school with Jack. I remember in Kindergarten how excited we would get for Mindy and Lucy to come volunteer because of how much we all loved Jack. Years later in high school, Jack and I met again and picked up right where we left off, because he always was so caring and genuine. He remembered those Kindergarten days too! One of my favorite memories with Jack in  in high school, after catching up, we hadn’t seen each other in a while. He made sure that everyone was comfortable and happy! He showed me his playlists and we jammed to one of my favorite songs together. Every time I listen to that song I think of him, now more than ever. I am sending my greatest condolences to Jacks family. He truly was amazing.

Our family is heartbroken over the loss of dear, sweet Jack. We have such fond memories of our time together on Woodbridge Road, including the epic snow cave that Jack and the whole crew built to last! We hope that all of your wonderful memories of him bring you comfort and peace.

I had the pleasure of being Jack's 3rd grade teacher and ukulele teacher. Hearing of Jack's passing is heartbreaking. He was an incredibly kind and sweet young man. His loving family must be devastated. I will remember Jack fondly and wish his family love and healing.

He was one of my best friends. I was able to talk to him about anything related to mental health and we’ve been giving each other advice since we were 16. He was hilarious and very genuine. We made alot of memories and had way too much fun. I wish he would have reached out. I can’t believe he’s gone. So sorry, Mom and Dad.

My heart is breaking - Jack's texts to me after my son's death lifted me up when I thought I could not talk about my son without immense grief. Jack would tell me good things, tell me stories, let me know how much my son was loved and admired. It meant more to me than Jack will ever know.  I know Jack is at peace now with my son and I find comfort in that.  My thoughts and my prayers are with Jack's family and friends.
