Jack E. Van Keuren

Jack E. Van Keuren Jr., 56, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away March 19, 2017. He had a heart of gold and lived life to the fullest. He was born January 28, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Jack E. Sr. and Dorothy (Schmidt) Van Keuren and was a graduate of Bexley High School, Class of '80. Jack retired after 28 years with American Airlines; also worked at Bexley Marine and most recently at Aetna Integrated Services. He made frequent trips to the Muskingum River to relax and play. Jack is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Susan (Herringshaw) Van Keuren; sons, Mitchell and Bradley; brother, Peter; nephews, Andrew, Zachary, Nicholas; mother-in-law, Jo Ann Herringshaw; brother-in-law Gary (Darlene) Herringshaw; nephews Nick and Nate; extended family and many good friends. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother William Van Keuren and father-in-law John Herringshaw. Family will welcome friends 4-7pm Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where his service will begin at 7pm.
