James F. Adams

James F. Adams, age 69, unexpectedly passed away on September 14, 2021. He was born September 18, 1951, to Robert E. and Grace H. (Wood) Adams in Columbus, Ohio where he was born and raised. He was a graduate of South High School in 1970.

He proudly served his country when he joined the United State Airforce in 1971. James was a Duplicating Specialist for the time he served. In those 4 years he achieved the rank of sergeant and earned a National Defense Service Medal. James was a proud member of the American Legion Post 797 he was also active in Boy Scouts of America receiving his Wood Badge on March 6, 1990 along with the Vigil Honor.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 27 ½ years Brenda (Malone) Adams; daughter, Rachel (Brandon) Gayer; stepchildren, Belinda L Shaw, John Taylor and Jennie (Joe) Sager; Father Robert E. Adams; sister, Becky (George) Daulton; niece Katie (Rob) Clark; nephew, Jeff Daulton along with many aunts, uncles, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Grace (Woods) Adams.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 25 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, from 12pm to 1pm, service will follow at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, family requests you donate the American Legion Post 797, 75 W Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230.
