James L. Budd

James Lester Budd, of Grove City, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017. He was born on March 6, 1961 to the late Charles R. Budd Sr. of Hernando FL and the late Joan (Bishop) Budd of Baltimore, MD. Jim attended Westland High School. He served our country in the United States Army. Jim was a big fan of the OSU Buckeyes and the Oakland/LA Raiders and never missed an opportunity to chear them on. He enjoyed watching drag racing and also worked for the National Hot Rod Association traveling to drag races all over the county. He also enjoyed NASCAR, golfing and spending time with his family and friends. Jim was a kind warm hearted person who organized multiple golf charity events. He is preceded in death by his son Richard A. Morris-Budd; and sister Collette Faye Budd. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Marilyn; brothers Charles R. (Tina) Budd and Scott (Allison) Budd; sister Tracie (Edward) Evans; step-brother, Kevin Owen; step-mother Audrey Budd; sisters and brothers in law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. Friends may call 1-2 PM Monday October 9th at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel 3920 Broadway where the Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM.
