Jim took on the role of being one of my grandpas when I was very young, and I will never forget all the ways he made me feel so special. We would sit and have intellectual conversations for hours about anything and everything, he taught me about the stock market, finances, history, geography, and so much more. I remember being in early elementary school, and he was teaching me my multiplaction tables. He taught me all about geodes and crystals and how they form, and we would crack open the geodes together. We played the piano, we played board games, we sat and did puzzles together for hours. Jim chose to be not only my grandpa, but also the best teacher and friend. On top of all that, I was incredibly lucky enough to have had the experience to travel all around the world with Jim and Pam. They took me to Chicago when I was only about 8 years old, then we went to Tennessee together, New York, and finally on a riverboat cruise through Europe.  I learned that I wanted to travel the world for the rest of my life and never stop seeing new things or learning about the world, like Jim. These were some incridible life experiences that I was lucky enough to be apart of, and I will always be forever thankful of these memories. Thank you for your unconditional love and for being such a special part of my life. Rest In Peace Jim, love you always :two_hearts:

Jim was a friend,and intellectual individual, I will miss our conversations about history,he had very few pears in this topic. I shall miss both.

James Thomas Budden was my father for over 30 years after my mom remarried to him, and he became my "stepdad" when I was only 14. From that young age, I began to learn from him. He was a wise, and he taught me about life and about how to be successful.

Jim accepted me as his daughter from the beginning, and I always knew that he cared about me and would be there to support me in any circumstance. He gave me so much that words cannot fully express.

Jim taught me the value of learning opportunities and education. He taught me about business and finance. He gave me my first real job where I learned about investing and saving money, and he inspired me to become a business owner instead of working for someone else.  I wanted to be like him in that way--smart, independent and successful.

Thank you, Jim, for all you gave to me. I hope I made you proud.
I will never forget you. You will always have a special place in my heart.
