James Michael Burtch III

Born in Columbus Ohio, Jim was the eldest of three boys. He attended Upper Arlington High School, Parsons College and Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He worked in both the public and private sector as an attorney and as a lobbyist. He was dedicated to his wife Nancy and enjoyed their last years together at their home in Ostrander.

Jim is survived by his brother Jack and his daughters Kelly, Annie, Molly and Maggie, and his brother Jeff, and his daughters Lynn, Lauren and Kristen; as well as his four stepchildren Scott DiPaolo, Judy Montgomery (and her son Morgan), Rita DiPaolo, and Linda and Geoff Arthur (and their children Merrill and Addie Arthur). He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy, his parents Jim Burtch and Jean Burtch and his sister-in-law Nancy Burtch.

A Memorial Service will be at 4pm this Thursday February 19, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, where family will receive friends one hour after.
