James Caldwell

James Vinson Caldwell passed away at home on Tuesday, March 17, 2021. He was born to Thelma and Everett Caldwell on July 21, 1947. He graduated from Central High School (Columbus, OH) in 1966. He served in the U. S. Army during 1967. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Virginia Caldwell; grandson, Travis Dietz; and great niece, Taylor McNamee. He is survived by his caretakers -- sister, Pat Clouse and niece, Trisha Lehman; his wife, Sandy Tripp; children, James (Teresa) Caldwell, Jr., Bobbie Jo (Brad) Finnerty; Angel Cottrell, Matthew (Nicole) Caldwell, and Kimberly (Jeremy) Smith; grandchildren, Amanda Eyen, James Caldwell, III, Bradley (Mariah) Dietz, Allison Caldwell, Timothy Perry, Andrea Bisset, Katelyn Blair, Sierra Smith, Mariah Marioth, Alexis Marioth, Destani Marioth, Mason Point, and Miley Donning; great grandchildren, Hazel Eyen, Jayce Dietz, Gauge Dietz, Kori Lynn Ringhiser, Kaiden Bisset, Lila Tier, Oaklyn Tier, Kenleigh Mellor, Malaki Marioth, Andriana Sengara, and Kayden Jordan; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family wishes to thank his nursing aide, Ashley George, Passport Case Manager, Kara Albaugh, and the staff of Fairhope Hospice for their care and support. Services will be private with interment at Field of Honor Burial Park, Canal Winchester.
